Stanley Cup Playoffs 2013 – Day 2 Recap

Toronto 1 at 4 Boston
Bad news for Toronto–the B’s just played their most complete game in weeks. I warned you about Reimer, the guy just looks worn out. Bruins have now won 6-straight v. Leafs at TD Garden. Coach Randy Carlyle summed-up the debacle this way,
“I just thought we self-destructed.”

NY Islanders 0 at 5 Pittsburgh
Wow! Talk about clicking on all cylinders. Sid Crosby wants to go–but team Doc’s held him back. If this game is any indication–why rush him! Meanwhile, Isles kids will learn valuable lessons to carry with them throughout this series.

San Jose 3 at 1 Vancouver
Roberto Luongo gets the start and his Playoff woes continue…and that adds-up to 5 straight Post-season losses for the ‘Nucks! Combined with the Regular Season, the Sharks have yet to lose to Vancouver this year.
